HAVANA, CUBA -- Centro Havana isn’t on most tourists' must-see lists when they visit Cuba.
Located adjacent to the tourist-friendly Old Havana, the Centro District shows a bit more of the raw side to the country’s capital city. Stray cats and dogs roam the streets. Most of the street lights are broken. There are few attractions to bring in tourists. The Centro District is where the Cubans working in Old Havana's tourist traps live.
It was dirty, it was loud and I absolutely loved it.
HAVANA, CUBA -- Old Havana is the most well-known area of Cuba’s capital city.
The country’s beautiful architecture, vibrant music and delicious food are on display in Old Havana -- known as La Habana Vieja. It‘s streets are crowded with tourists from around the world, shop keepers, souvenir sellers, street food vendors, scammers, police and everyone in between.
A trip to Iceland is not complete without a day spent on the south coast.
Iceland’s South Coast has everything -- waterfalls, volcanoes, glaciers, basalt columns, black-sand beaches and charming small towns. Every time I travel down Route 1, I discover new things.
Just when I thought I knew something about Iceland, I find out about the Snaefellsnes Peninsula.
Recently, I was looking for new and interesting places to visit on my THIRD trip to Iceland. I was going with a buddy, Matt, and wanted to bring him places I had never been before. After some research, I found out about the Snaefellsnes Peninsula. It was INCREDIBLE.
It has so many incredible features -- waterfalls, lava fields, black- and tan-sand beaches, lighthouses, adorable small towns, craters, volcanoes, caves, gorges and so much more.
It's a 12 to 15 hour day trip from Reykjavik and I cannot recommend a day trip there enough.
Hey! I'm Christian.
