While there is a staggeringly low crime rate in Cuba, that doesn’t mean there aren’t scam artists trying to take advantage of tourists.
There are a number of scams the locals use to siphon money from visitors. Like with any country, it’s important to be aware of your surroundings and aware of potential scammers in Cuba. Here’s the scams I most often saw while exploring Cuba:

Here’s my breakdown of waterfalls, geothermal pools, beautiful drives and more to explore after your first trip to Iceland. Relaxing in geothermal pools is a practice that dates back centuries and is still practiced among many Icelanders today. The old school pools dotting the countryside have given way to spas like the Blue Lagoon. A incredible facility -- yes -- but not a place frequented by locals.
Thanks to countless blog posts, everyone knows the big attractions to visit in Iceland. But what is there to do AFTER you visit the Golden Circle, Ring Road and the Blue Lagoon? What’s left are hidden gems.
