SANDYS PARISH, BERMUDA -- It was getting dark. My wife, Abby, and I had been driving our scooters around Sandy’s Parish in Bermuda for a few couple hours at this point. She had never driven a scooter before and was learning on the go.
With so many people opting for guided tours and pre-planned experiences in Bermuda, visitors leave few opportunities for real exploration.
But there is a spot -- far from tourist traps and Instagram-famous beaches -- that can bring out your inner child. It allows you to walk in the footsteps of pirates and rum runners. It encourages your imagination to run wild.
With so many people obsessed with the pink sand beaches of southern Bermuda, few people ever venture north to explore the beautiful beach in Sandy’s Parish.
I was privileged enough to spend time exploring Sandy’s Parish and its beautiful beaches with my wife, Abby, on a recent trip.
Pssssst! Hey you! Yeah you!
What if I were to tell you there is a beautiful, secret beach in Bermuda. A beach that isn’t crowded by tourists and has been left unspoiled by travel bloggers. A beach that is off the beaten path and makes for both incredible photos and great times.
